About Us
Founded in 2019, NOA is a boutique design studio shaped by a vision to reimagine the built environment across the GCC and the wider Middle East. Established by Firas Hnoosh—an architect with a distinguished international portfolio spanning the UK, Europe, and the region—NOA emerged as a response to a growing desire for fresh perspectives and culturally resonant design.
We craft more than buildings; we design experiences, narratives, and ways of living—ranging from the scale of entire cities to the intimacy of a single object. Each project is approached with precision, creativity, and a deep respect for context.

The name NOA carries a dual significance. In Arabic, “نواه” (nowah) refers to the core—the origin or essence. It reflects our role as originators of distinctive ideas and design visions rooted in meaning and clarity.
