Rasna has over 30 years of international professional experience in the U.K., Kenya, Zimbabwe and has spent the last 15 years practicing in Dubai. She has worked for world-renowned international practices including SOM, Hopkins Architects and NORR, on a wide range of project types and scales.
Her portfolio includes key projects such as Credit Suisse First Boston in Canary Wharf and 10 Exchange Square in Broadgate both in London, UK. As well as Central Park Towers in DIFC – Dubai, and Emaar’s Address Residences Sky View in Downtown Dubai.
She has specifically developed her interests and skills in the technical aspects of the project, including construction documentation and following through construction of projects on site. She is involved in all technical aspects of project delivery and oversee office-wide construction documentation and coordination activities; develop an office-specific quality assurance and control program; develop standard details and procedures; research new technologies and building systems; and integrate sustainability into technical design solutions.
Rasna promotes interdisciplinary design excellence, professional collaboration, innovative project delivery and a strong office culture. As Technical Director she partners with the Design Director and Operations Director to develop the office’s technical project delivery strategy. She is responsible for setting policy on delivery standards, leading dialogue on current delivery issues, engaging and training talent, maintaining a high level of technical design and quality control.
